Winter Adventures
Ski Mohawk Mountain in Cornwall, Conneticuts’s largest and oldest ski area! Night Skiing and Snow tubing is a must!
There are several ice skating rinks in the area or be extra adventurous and go out on one of the lakes!
Cross-Country Skiing + Snowshoeing: Black Rock Park, Burr Pond State Park, and Housatonic Meadows State Park are the perfect spots for a beautiful glide across the snow
Many lakes and ponds in Connecticut are popular for ice fishing, and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection offers ice fishing classes.
You can go snowmobiling in Connecticut state parks and forests.
